Reservation steps

Update your reservations to take full advantage of the Hotelizer

Each reservation has different stages, so if you inform them properly you will be able to get more accurate reports. These steps are directly affected by the booking status which you should also update.

Reservations that are Optional, Confirmed, In house & Checked out are displayed in the Calendar and count on total availability.

On the other hand, reservations that have been Canceled or Non show, are NOT displayed in the reservation plan and can be found in the ''Reservation list'' or in the ''Accomodation''.

Reservation status

Each booking has a basic status which determines whether it appears in the Calendar and affects the availability of accommodation.

Status

Description

When a reservation is yellow it means it is optional, we are not sure exactly when it will arrive. In this case, when we do not know when the customer will come, we can move the reservation to the "parked" option, until we receive the confirmation.

Canceled booking which does not appear in the Calendar.

When a reservation is green, it means that it is a confirmed reservation and we are waiting for it at the accommodation.

Non show which does not appear in the Calendar.

When a reservation is blue, it means that that guests are in-house.

When a reservation is red, it means that the guests have left the property and we have checked it out.

Change status

To go from one step to another you will need to change the booking status.

Cancel Cancel the booking

Confirmation Confirm the booking

ฮ•xtend

In all optional bookings we have set a date by which we will keep it in this state. With the extension we can extend this duration.

Revoke Cancellation

We can restore a cancelled booking and make it Confirmed

Check-in

You can check in the customer upon arrival

Cancel Cancel the booking

No show When the customer does not show up at the property you can select this option

Revoke confirmation

With this action we turn the reservation into Optional

Revoke No show

We can restore a no show reservation and make it Confirmed

Check-out

You can check-out the customer

Revoke Check-in

We can restore an in house reservation and make it Confirmed

Revoke Check-out

We can restore a checked out reservation and make it in house
